There are many, from the way social researchers are being encouraged to delegate knowledge acts to machines, which risks turning the process of inquiry into a series of optimizable tasks, to the obscurity of data capture and processing within automated systems and the distance this creates between social research and social life. How to address these challenges in social studies with and of AI?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More info about my talk can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncrm.ac.uk\/training\/lecture24\/index.php\" data-type=\"URL\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event takes place on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 at The Royal Society in London.
